Humsafar is a romance novel by famous
Farhat Ishtiaq. The novel revolves around the relationship Ashar and Khirad
with their daughter whose name is Hareem and how she unwittingly bridges
the distance between her parents. The novel is written in retrospective and is
told mainly in flashbacks. The first half of the novel is mainly based on
Ashar's reflections and his point of view, while the second half of the novel
is mainly told from Khirad's point of view.
